Hey, Engrishers! Over here at Engrish Funny (and the rest of FAIL Blog, and Memebase, and ICHC, etc.) we’re making some teensy tiny adjustments to our layout starting Monday, February 13:
– There will be no more voting on the front page. Voting will be brought back in the near future in a better and more expressive way. If you want to show a LOL some love, you can always share it on Facebook or post it to one of your very own homegrown Cheez sites (who wouldn’t want to be the proud owner and curator of one of these beauties?
– You still can vote on the voting page! How else will we know the bad stuff from the good?
– New and improved buttons! They’ll be clean, and they’ll be shiny. Sort of shiny, anyway. Our drop-down “Post to My Cheezburger” button will give you the option of adding a LOL to your “Favorites” or to one of your Cheezburger Sites. The “Share on Facebook” button will let you, uh, share a LOL on Facebook.

Changing the voting system seems unnecessary to me. That also looks like the extent of the cleanup.
Yeah, what’s the point in removing the voting? It’s a nice little thing to see. It makes disappointments less disappointing since you were prepared for it already, and it makes funny pictures even funnier as you already expected it would be funny. It was also a nice system to see how your opinion stood in comparison to others’, and in cases where your opinion was “bad” while others said “great”, it allowed you to think some more about the picture, finally seeing what’s so great about it.
