Well…As a chinese, i can’t see any relation between left and right.. Perhaps 26 years old is not enough for me to truly understand chinese….
It’s just a bad joke. Someone has taken some hanzi/kanji and made up things that they look like, rather than their real meanings.
It’s incredibly boring, and doesn’t fit the theme of this site at all. I can’t imagine why it was posted.

or it fits just right because all jokes on here are tasteless, so it fits just fine. why is there a debate going on whether or not this is funny, is the an ancient chinese engrish “funny or not” board of directors that this has to appeal to first?

It’s funny, but I am french, maybe for a chinese it’s not funny because they see the chinese characters mean another thing.
But what I can’t understand is that they say “I don’t understand the joke”. You are not very intelligent, right? They are interpreted as drawings. If you can’t understand that I can see why you don’t laugh: sense of humor requires of intelligence.
