I saw an exotic dancer do a move that one might well call “turbo tit.” She had tassels attached at the nipples, and she made them spin rapidly, like propellers, in opposite directions.
I’m gonna pretend I didn’t just hear that.
But if you had seen it, I doubt you’d be able to pretend you hadn’t! This had to have been 30 years ago, and I still can see it clearly.
After the tassels started spinning, they she take off into outer space?
No, but I felt a bit of a rocket thrust.

In Sweden, a “turbo-tutte” (=turbo tit) is when you pinch someone really hard on the nipples and turn them around.
I believe that in the Antipodes (and probably elsewhere in English-speaking countries), that is referred to as a nipple cripple.

“Teet” in Hebrew means mortar, and it probably should have been spelled that way.
Spelling it “teet” wouldnt have helped.
But the hebrew literally spells out Turbo.. so what were they trying to say?
Presumably, the name is supposed to indicate that this is fast-drying mortar. The phonetic rather than literal translation is pure Engrish…
Well, it’s supposed to be a transliteration, not a translation – in the same way that our prime minister doesn’t call himself “Son-of-Right Given-by-god”.
But they should have probably considered how bad that would look in English.
I was wondering what that meant. I am actually too lazy to reach the metre and a half to get the Hebrew-English dictionary off the shelf.

thats in Israel there plenty of wrong translations here there was a car that had named “BioCar” instead of “BioCare”
Does this really count as engrish? It’s not a translation. those are the hebrew words written with english letters.
If in doubt, just say, “Fart.”
Kind of feel obligated to explain that “Tit” in Hebrew mean cement. Just some quick dry cement. Funny transliterations are easy, guys. Stick to basterdized translations.
“Turbo Tit” is a phonetic translation of the hebrew writing on the packadge. It’s not a translation.

“Fast drying cement” would have been the best translation.
To be fair, that’s just a transliteration of what it says in Hebrew. “Tit” (actually pronounced “teet”) just means concrete.
But I love it.
