  1. JohnB says:

Why study martial arts for years, when now you can get it in an instant??

  2. Ginger Snape says:

Sooo…if you have an argument over this soup would it be called “kung fu fighting”?

  3. Razor says:

They actually have cans of Whoop Ass…it’s and energy drink. The store I worked at a couple years ago sells it.

  4. Not Even Here says:

Hmmm, so this is funny? I guess you better hold up the “Applause” sign to let me know when to start the canned laugh.

  5. Klingbeil says:

    your kung-fu is weak!

    needs more salt!

  6. Samalamalove says:

  7. Litewinger says:

This is what Chuck Norris eats for a light snack.

  8. Exiled says:

  9. la conejita says:

That Kung-Fu soup would go great with my Kung-Pow Chicken.

    • JohnB says:

Well, since we recently learned that, apparently, “Kung pao” means “the temple explodes,” you would be all set up for an action/martial arts flick, although I doubt you’d get a peaceful dinner out of it.

  10. Droll not Troll says:

This soup has one hell of a kick to it.

  11. Spencer says:

Dude, I eat those all the time, they’re actually delicious. Besides that, sorry to ruin the fun, but in Chinese, Kung-fu just means “the rewards of hard work”

  12. v000 says:

    Neo: I know kung-fu!
    Morpheus: Show me.

Morpehus: You’re eating it wrong… Again!

Why is this site even called “Engrish Funny”? It’s like saying cake is hot dog

    • JohnB says:

And you think it should be called what?

      • jinxed says:

He has a point, JohnB. Earlier, most of the engrish pictures posted on this site were funny, but for the last few months the only thing funny has been the occasional punful comment here and there. The site would now be more appropriately called “engrish.com”

Well, I don’t know why you felt compelled to post that twice, but first of all, there have been some really funny pictures in amongst the not-so-much. The “Engrish Smorgasbord” one is a case in point. Secondly, the most fun most of us have on the site is the interplay, and only a fraction of that is puns. Thirdly, there already is a site called “engrish.com,” and it is not nearly as funny as this one. So what I say to all who complain there isn’t enough funny here is, well, be funny. It’s better to incite a chuckle than to curse the lack of hilarity. I’ve been around the site long enough to know that there are some fertile periods, and some dry periods. It’s easier to be funny during the fertile periods, but there are plenty of people here who step up to the plate and try to add funny where there might be a lack. Complaining that things aren’t funny, aren’t Engrish, are only funny to the childish or lame, etc., do absolutely nothing to add to the funny, and in fact detract from it. If you’re not having fun here, move on. It’s a great, big internet.

      • Kid Choronsom says:

Judging from this picture the site should be called “Chinese.com”
Well my point being that Engrish is funny and usually mistaken English written by Asians. But in this picture there is a Chinese word written correctly. It’s not Engrish, not English, just plain normal Chinese.
