And lo, the Almighty Garden Filter delivered unto us the beloved MP3!
Ask, and ye shall receive.
As much as I’d like an MP3 player, O Mighty Garden Filter I am perfectly content with the lovely rain you have sent again this morning, Ramen.
ramen indeed, my brother
ramen.
Ramen, and Noodles Be With Thee.
With onions and eggs, please.
actually there is a thing that playes a really long prayer (dont know the name) that prayers usually pray (no joke)
Used for praying to an artificial deity, no doubt.
Which would be helpful if you need an artificial limb to heal.
Am I the only one that seems to think that technology is making us more lazy? Now, you don’t have to bother to pray, we have the new MP3 prayer.
I’ve overheard some of what kids these days are listening to on MP3s, and not only does it sound loud enough to damage their hearing, it sure didn’t sound like prayer to me!
They weren’t using this device then
yeah this one only plays music personally approved by Jesus El Savior Christ, like “Crusified” from Army of Lovers
Yeah, and its only 256MG, so it’s not like the technology increases productivity or anything.
**256 MB. And damn you, I was going to say that.
Well, I took 256 mg. So I’d better not say anything.
Someone hasn’t been using there mp3 prayer lately
256 Megagrams?? What is it made of, neutronium?
@la conejita
well… lazy people invent the best stuff.. have you not heard? cars? elevators? escalators?
so yeah
Wow, you are right, kinda.
If you are going to invent technology, you have to spend a lot of time and effort working on it and making it perfect. So in a way, when you are inventing something, you can’t be lazy. After you invent it, you can be as lazy as you want along with everyone else using your device.
Well, for millenia the Buddhists have had prayer flags and prayer wheels that they believe are sending out prayers into the universe without the necessity of any human effort past the point of creating them.
I recall reading somewhere that the best thing for a lazy person to do is to keep their muscles in shape. That way, everything takes much less effort.
Everything, except for keeping the muscles in shape!
You see the paradox.
Well, businesses are going online to cut overheads, so eventually I suppose even gods had to get up to speed with the technology. I suppose it’ll save time for Catholics, just record one Ave Maria or Pater Noster, then set it on loop.
It will loop on 16 hours of Gregorian Chants.
Dominoes and biscuits.
Eat cum steamboat too.
I am perfectly happy to eat sine steamboat. Ominous dominus, pax vobiscuit.
Astronomy Domine.
*chants* My father plays dominoes better than your faaather.
Well the “l” and “r” forever elude them?
Will the “i” forever elude thee?
On a related note, this was apparently found in Spain, so they don’t really have an excuse.
Se habra Espanor?
Its obvious its not an IPOD of course! aside from the mispelling. I dont find it funny. NEXT!
Thanks so much for sharing.
Those who believe in a god will pray for the return of your sense of humour. If you ever had one.
I-pods aren’t the be all and end all. I don’t believe in granting them a monopoly in music devices, so I don’t buy from them. A generic one works perfect.
So I’d buy this 14.99 prayer!
But the i-pods don’t break as fast, they have a ridiculous amount of features, and they are cooler!
if you don’t buy an iPod, you haven’t got a prayer.
And you can post comments on engrish using an itouch!
I didn’t say I didn’t have one. I actually made a few comments from it earlier….
i also don’t care fore spellings as you can see
so… the headline is praying for it to be not just a piece of junk, but an overpriced and overrated piece of junk? how exactly is that better?
…you know, just askin.
well… you could save the economy by buying the overpriced and overrated piece of junk… or you could save your soul by buying the underpriced and underrated piece of junk. (not)
Oh yes, buy stuff to stimulate the economy. We’ve even had the official Stimulus Package Down Here in Oz; the gumbiment gave people money to spend to boost the economy (although I didn’t get any). Yep, gave ‘em a handout, up to $900 or so, and said, now GET OUT THERE and STIMULATE the economy! Buy stuff! That’s right, STIMULATE ’til you HERNIATE! Then a whole bunch of economically irresponsible idiots went and did things like pay off credit cards, paid rent or gas or power bills, bought groceries, made payments on car loans, bought school uniforms and books; how irresponsible can you get? Srsly, how are we going to get over the GFC if people insist on living within their means, and don’t buy STUFF?????
iGod?
Sorry, someone had to.
Actually, I think that’s rather clever.
Too clever! I think Apple has that on the drawing board.
Shades of Deep Thought!
Crap your hands and sing hallelujah!
I own that! aaaahahah
slowly god has advanced to the digital age and so he gave us mp3 prayers record it and he’ll get around to it when he feels like it
