These do work against a form of shoe vexation – in the lab where I work, I have had many discussions about “appropriate footwear” with some of the younger laydeez, who like to wear strappy/open-toed and/or heeled shoes. Now, I have a box of shoe covers, and anyone who comes in to do lab work without appropriately closed in shoes has to wear these. The first week it was hilarious, you should’ve seen the looks on their faces… (And yes, I am known as The Lab Nazi.)

If you put the vampire in the dust bag *before* you shove a stake through it, then when it crumbles to dust the dust is all conveniently contained. Otherwise it goes everywhere, and you spend the rest of the morning trying to sweep it all up.
