Ahh yes, I can see it now “SLEAZY(TM) Studios presents… leather vs latex” they’d need to set up an obstacle course first like the ones for most extreme challenge and make sure copious quantities of mud/jelly/other goopy substances were involved.
Well, I can pronounce the Cyrillic writing, but none of the words ring any bells with me, which is either an indication of how rusty my Russian is, or that it is not Russian.
I do know that in Russian, “КОЖЕНИ ОБЛЕКЛА” means “leather clothing” and “серии” means “series,” but none of the other words make any sense to me (and I know Russian). It could be Ukranian or Belorussian, judging by the -СКА ending on the sign to the left, but that’s all I can tell.
It is in Bulgarian, It is in Sofia, at the five corners going in the direction to NDK, and the sign says ” leather clothing, small collections and orders”
Many Slavic languages share words, at least in their root forms, with Russian. Ukrainian, in particular, is so close to Russian that back when I was nearly fluent in Russian, I could often puzzle out some Ukrainian. Even some of the Slavic languages that have adopted the Latin alphabet sometimes share root words. And of course, all languages borrow from others.
I think we all respond to posts before going all the way to the bottom sometimes. It can make us look rather foolish. But I think the key to having fun on this site is to stop worrying about looking foolish! I do it all the time!!!
If you’re into p0rn distribution, I’m sure it’s a great name. For an outfit that makes leather clothes, I’m not so sure it’s a win, unless they specialize in bondage wear.
The actual reason they do custom fit free for ladeez is because the wimmenfolk make up such a small proportion of their customer base, it’s not worth keeping off-the-peg items stocked. And yes, they do measure very carefully. I had more fittings for my last set of leathers than I had for my wedding clothes: measurings, remeasurings, then the calico mock-up, which had to be altered, then more fittings, it’s a very involved business.
That’s some really neat wedding gear, Dr. H! (I mean that sincerely and with no sarcasm.) I am curious if you went with the traditional white or were a rebel and went with black or brown. I would love to go to a wedding and see a bride in leather, as a photographer I have seen enough strapless ‘princess’ dresses to last a lifetime and a half.
I didn’t actually wear my leathers to my wedding (they were my going away outfit), although I did arrive on my motorcycle (as did the matron of honour, the bridesmaid and the flower boy). I had a pair of dress trousers and a tailored shirt, and a cloak with hood. I was a blue bride; I didn’t wear white, let’s face it, I wouldn’t've been fooling anyone…
A nice short leather skirt with slits up both sides would compliment the stilettoes nicely. If they really specialize in “sleazy” clothes, I’m sure you could order one here!
These thigh highs patents are so tight and shiny that my leg hair shows through. I need to shave my legs because the HD camera shows everything. I would wax, but the shine shows the rash.
I suspect the people who chose that for a company trademark didn’t get it either! “Sleazy” in English refers to something or someone of low character, disreputable, low-class, vulgar, with a hint of sexual immorality. But if that’s the type of image you want to cultivate, look them up!
As The Stranglers (a favourite band of mine) sung 30 years ago:
“Nice’n'sleazy does it, Nice’n'sleazy does it.
Nice’n'sleazy does it. Does it every time!”
And, damn, when it comes to women and leather/rubber clothes nice and sleazy really does do it for me any time!
Many Slavic languages use the Cyrillic alphabet, in whole or in part. If you had read the discussion above, you would have learned that this is Bulgarian, which is a language that uses the Cyriillic alphabet in its entirety.
Some non-Slavic languages use Cyrillic , too; e.g. Kazakh and Mongolian. Not to mention the many languages of the native peoples of Siberia and particularly the “Extreme North”. (I just thought that now that we’ve established that Cyrillic isn’t exclusive to Russian… take that! It isn’t even exclusive to just the Slavic languages, either.)
I was not aware myself that Kazakh and Mongolian utilized the Cyrillic alphabet, which is interesting. Of course that makes sense politically and culturally, since Kazakhstan was one of the Soviet Sociallist Republics in the old USSR, and Mongolia was under Russian domination for many years.
Keep studying Russkiy yazik! It’s an interesting language. I took it many years, but opportunities for me to use it have been so limited that I’m quite rusty. But I hope one day to visit there, and I suspect that if I stayed there a month or so, a lot would come back to me. At one time, I knew it well enough that I would have occasional dreams in Russian, which is a strange experience. Of course, I am partly of Russian heritage, and am fully pan-Slavic in ancestry (also Ukrainian, Polish, and Lithuanian), so for me it’s in my DNA…
An even more strange experience? Your Norwegian friends begin speaking russian and your russian friends start speaking norwegian… and a giant snake keeps killing all of them. happened to me once in a dream.
If it were really sleazy, they would have genuine pleather.
WIN!!11!
I like latex for some things, and I like leather for others, but which is better? There’s only one way to settle this:-
FIGHT!!!
Well that seems like it’d be really interesting to watch
Ahh yes, I can see it now “SLEAZY(TM) Studios presents… leather vs latex” they’d need to set up an obstacle course first like the ones for most extreme challenge and make sure copious quantities of mud/jelly/other goopy substances were involved.
There needs to be two categories for latex. There is premolded ready to wear and the custom paint on version.
Well, tag-team, obviously.
this must be the place were they film the bullfrog F*cking scenes O.o
Well, I can pronounce the Cyrillic writing, but none of the words ring any bells with me, which is either an indication of how rusty my Russian is, or that it is not Russian.
It looks like they’re using the Cyrillic alphabet, but a fair chunk of Eastern Europe does that, not just Russia. So I’d go with “it’s not Russian”.
Well, I know Ukrainan so I can say it’s not ukrainan either.
This is either Bulgarian or Serbian, definitely not Russian.
It’s bulgarian.
It is in Bulgarian, It is in Sofia, at the five corners going in the direction to NDK, and the sign says ” leather clothing, small collections and orders”
I wonder if they’re hiring?
It says something around the following:
Leather-clad. Remains of seasonal series and ??? (<- no idea what "porchki" means).
Very sleazy imho.
In what language?
Ooops! That time I just forgot to change back into my identity as an ordinary mortal…
Russian.
But it may as well be Bulgarian, Belorussian or from any other country that uses Cyrillic.
Een Soovy-et Rou-sha, Lay-there whares yoo!

Automatic translator FTW
“Leather clothing
limited series and orders”
And it’s Bulgarian actualy.
I find it strange, that our humble and well educated in the ways of the engrish country appears here so rarely..
Well, bring us more Bulgarian Engrish strong funny! Now! If not sooner!
It’s in Bulgarian. It says: “Leather clothes. Small series and orders.”
So I was close in my Russian->English translation endeavor (see a bit above).
Apparently both languages are somewhat similar.
My own language would be a good example here.
I fail to see how this is engrish.
They obviously meant it to say exactly what it does say.
Yeah, “Leather clothes. Small series and orders,” carries exactly the same meaning as “Sleazy studio. Genuine leather.”
you forgot the (TM) symbol on Sleazy, JohnB! It just adds a whole other layer of awesome to this Engrish gem (:
I think the most hilariouis part is that they apparently have taken “Sleazy” as their trade mark! Wonder if they know what it means.
*facepalm* and I need to learn to read…
I think we all respond to posts before going all the way to the bottom sometimes. It can make us look rather foolish. But I think the key to having fun on this site is to stop worrying about looking foolish! I do it all the time!!!
“Sleazy” makes a great trademark for some applications. Cut to the chase!
If you’re into p0rn distribution, I’m sure it’s a great name. For an outfit that makes leather clothes, I’m not so sure it’s a win, unless they specialize in bondage wear.
Or motorcycle gear. I think I’ll stick with Tiger Angel (custom fitting free for laydeez, if you’re Down Under).
They must have to measure you VERY carefully to ensure a proper fit, especially to places Down Under. No wonder they offer it free!
The actual reason they do custom fit free for ladeez is because the wimmenfolk make up such a small proportion of their customer base, it’s not worth keeping off-the-peg items stocked. Sorry, but that’s one of my favorite fantasies, the naughty female seamstress who measures very carefully.
Nope, off to Mr Humphries with you for your inside leg measurements. “I’m free!”
Sorry. Mr. Humphries is not welcome in my fantasy. Shoo! Shoo!
Are you being served?
“SLEAZY” isn’t that unusual for a fashion brand …
However the fact its leather does make it a little more amusing .. however very like not an engrish, perhaps a fail.
So, what next? “Cheap Wh0re” brand lingerie? Stilettos from “Nympho Slut”? “Promiscuous” brand perfume?
I prefer latex too.
Here, PoodleGroomer, you’re going to want your stilettoes back.
A nice short leather skirt with slits up both sides would compliment the stilettoes nicely. If they really specialize in “sleazy” clothes, I’m sure you could order one here!
Costumes has a fur speedo like Sean Connery wore.
All I need now is my toolbelt, pouch and tools.
The Gadgeteering Gigolo, or Doing More with Tools…
A good gigolo should have more than one option with tools. Stainless steel can always be counted on!
These thigh highs patents are so tight and shiny that my leg hair shows through. I need to shave my legs because the HD camera shows everything. I would wax, but the shine shows the rash.
Now THAT’S tight!
I have some teatree lotion you can use after waxing your legs, but I’d ask your beautician what she recommends for after the manzilian.
My concern with my daughters cleavage exposure suddenly seems so pedestrian…
And I will be needing a long cold shower!
They have brain bleach at the gift shop.
HOORAY this is a picture from Bulgaria my homeland I gotta translate it for you i says Leather dresses in low prices but i dont get what SLEAZY means
I suspect the people who chose that for a company trademark didn’t get it either! “Sleazy” in English refers to something or someone of low character, disreputable, low-class, vulgar, with a hint of sexual immorality. But if that’s the type of image you want to cultivate, look them up!
That or they knew exactly what they meant; either is entirely possible if you make leather dresses!
“I need some more of my…. special leather.”
I wonder how many people will get the Metalocalypse reference
Stop copyings me!

The poor bastards mistakenly put sleazy instead of sleaky
‘Sleaky’?
Sounds like an amalgam of ‘slinky’ and ‘leaky’ which again is quite sleazy when it comes to leather clothes.
Sounds to me more like a cross between “sneaky” and “sleazy,” which is definitely something to avoid!
This is Russian, I don’t know what it is, but the letters are all Russian.
Many Slavic languages use the Cyrillic alphabet, in whole or in part. If you had read the discussion above, you would have learned that this is Bulgarian, which is a language that uses the Cyriillic alphabet in its entirety.
Oh, thanks, I’m sorry for my ignorance. I’m studying Russian so I just assumed…I didn’t read the comments throughly. Thank you
Some non-Slavic languages use Cyrillic , too; e.g. Kazakh and Mongolian. Not to mention the many languages of the native peoples of Siberia and particularly the “Extreme North”. The more you know.
Well, it’s nice to know this stuff, I feel less stupid now.
Keep studying Russkiy yazik! It’s an interesting language. I took it many years, but opportunities for me to use it have been so limited that I’m quite rusty. In Soviet Russia, latex prefer YOU!!
It’s Serbian or Croatian, and the second part says something about whipping.
