Amazing! It actually worked! That’s what I was trying to do in my post above where it came out “BLUE TEXT”. I may actually figure out this stuff yet. It’s certainly easier when I know the name of what I’m using.

OK PoodleGroomer, I googled some of that. I don’t know how much I learned, but I found a tool called Quick Escape, and now I’m going to try something.

Start with & Special character code, end with ; You can search for special character tables. There are a lot of them. This site filters most of the special characters to prevent xhtml or javascript injections into their pages.

You showed us how to post a link earlier, and that method has been serving me well. What I couldn’t figure out on this occasion was how to post the instruction as a string of text, so that the site doesn’t treat it as an instruction. I tried enclosing it in quotes, but that didn’t work.
Unfortunately, what I can see in the email form of your post above doesn’t give me any clues.
