Saffem = caffeine is easy to see. S=C obviously, S sort of looks like a “capital” C. And IN = M is an easy mistake to make by eye or by OCR. Dunno where the last E went.

Well, Sutter’s Mill was where gold was first found in California just prior to the big gold rush of 1849, so perhaps “Milsut” is a contraction of Sutter’s Mill. And while the miners all looked for gold, they neglected the red ore that, it turns out, is used to fuel some varieties of modern spacecraft, especially the cigar-shaped “mother ships” from which discs emerge. So essentially this is a promise from aliens to provide Earthlings with their most valuable resource, Coca-Cola, in exchange for quantities of the Red Milsut Ore.

Hmm…. red milsut ore may not even be part of the ingredient list…. it’s at the top and not centered, like the others are. Tis a mystery! Kinda looks like it was copied from what they heard rather than what they saw, with typos, and with a partial understanding of the English alphabet. Like putting ‘m’ instead of ‘n’ twice, and ‘h’ on words that are supposed to end in ‘r.’

The acid in coke is phosphoric acid. I think the “oaramel colon” may refer to “caramel colour”, but how “caffeine” ended up as “saffem” is anybody’s guess. Maybe this is actually a phonic rendering from Dnobian.
We have a 500 g bottle of crystalline caffeine (AR grade) in the lab. I’ve been joking for years about cutting down on teabreak times by brewing up a solution, whacking it through a 0.2um filter and setting up IV infusions. This picture suggests that someone else has beaten me to it, and started ingesting lab reagents already.

As far as I can tell, the way people get their “English” inscriptions for cool T-shirts is by picking up a piece of random text and copying it by eye. Since they don’t recognize the letters, they pick similar-looking ones (d for p, n for h…)

…Kind of the way people make “Chinese” inscriptions for cool T-shirts over here.
