  1. chimpsmirk says:

Just what language would generate “legislative group” out of “screw” when plugged into Babelfish?

  2. brazzy says:

Probably it was not “screw” but something along the lines of “assembly” in the original.

  3. Heather says:

    Blagojevich? You taking notes?

  4. Captain Of The Fail Boat says:

*sigh* 45 minutes too late to be the first Blagojevich joke

  5. ObscureWittyReference says:

Leave it to politicians to “hit” glue – the next sex scandal?

  6. Aoife says:

This is why I never read the instructions when I assemble stuff.

  7. zoozoopedals says:

I’m thinking that “legislative group” probably evolved from “put together” (i.e. Put together –> mate –> congress –> legislative group)

  8. Gladiator763 says:

Obama writes his first furniture assembly manual. In accordance with liberalism, it makes absolutely no sense, is incorrect, and is a FAIL.

    • ObscureWittyReference says:

Poor grammar and senselessness points conclusively to W (the first US president to speak Engrish natively).
Origin comprehension on your part: fail.

I’d say that a site dedicated to funny highlights in bad translation is a lousy place for blatant (or veiled) partisan venom. The ICHC dudes made a different site just for that if you need to get it out of your system. Here, that stuff is just irritating…. I squeeze a Toady pustule in your general direction.

  9. I'm the chief says:

wood? they don’t have any…solution? DUCTAPE.

    • dr handle says:

Ah yes, duct tape, so like The Force: it has a Light side, a Dark side, and it pretty much holds the universe together.

  10. dr handle says:

Do I understand this correctly? I am being instructed to take two pieces of wood, then glue them (conceivably to make a larger piece of wood), then use that to hit politicians? I’m on board!

  11. IM says:

    Totally brilliant!
