    What flushes America?

  2. fyi says:

It’s supposed to mean “digital imaging”. We must be thankful to automatic translators for giving us so much to laugh at.

    • JohnB says:

The digital imaging flushes India? That’s still funny!

    • Rob says:

Anyone have an idea just what they wanted to say? “Our digital (phone) completely covers India”, perhaps? (guessing “to flush” is a euphemism for “to cover completely”, like the American English euphemism “to blanket”)

      • jamar says:

The Chinese word for “print” is a commonly-used abbreviation for “India” because it’s pronounced similarly to the first syllable.

        The more you know…

  3. puppatoons says:

    Does India know about this??

  4. someone says:

Must be annoying for people living in India, not being able to phone someone because you might flush down India. Unless you go to another country and program someone’s number.

  5. Duffy says:

The word “flush” is intrinsically funny, even though it doesn’t have a K in it.

  6. John says:

    Epic WIN! xD

    • ~Tails~ says:

No, that’s in Australia. (See the “In Australia, The Yard L-M-N-O-Pees On You!” LOL by DubbLE_TaiLZ.

  12. invisible says:

The four Chinese characters on top literally mean “Digital Printing Media”, in short form. But it seems like the decal designer translated each Chinese character separately without realizing the meaning of the phrase as a whole.

  13. Jeff says:

Mainland China sign (simplified Chinese). I don’t know mandarin. The Chinese characters directly above the “questionable English phrase” reads, in Cantonese, from left to right, “so mah chung yun,” which invisible correctly stated the meaning as “Digital Printing Media.”

So Mah = Digital (literally, “Math Code” – hence it translated to “The numerical code”)
Chung Yun = Printing (literally, “flush print”)

The reason why Yun was translated as “India” is translator probably picked it up as a noun. “Yun dou” (in Cantonese pronounciation) is how Chinese name the country India.

  14. krystal says:
