this reminds me of the “in case of fire use stairs” because that’s like take the stairs, just in case their is a fire so you don’t get trapped. strange wording.

Makes sense. If you’re not a resident and you park there, they’ll let your tyres down. Nice way to deter someone. No fine, no towing, no wheel lock. Imagine the law suit if someone didn’t notice, drove away and crashed though….
Um yeah…you laugh…but this is what they do to you in Asia when you park in front of someone’s driveway. Imagine if we did this instead of giving tickets…
I’m waiting for someone to explain how this makes any sense. The only result I can see is that the driveway will be blocked for much longer.
