I think it’s a hamster. And the wheel and they’re nocturnal, uh, but I got nothing on bird-flinging, black-joking pirates, though.
I don’t know…hamster ears aren’t quite that big, are they?
It’s a mouse. Picture it without the white markings on the ears. They’re the right size and shape for a mouse.
I think it’s supposed to look like Hamtaro (hamster). As for the other one, it probably is another one of those things where they just throw a few random sayings together with a picture relevant to one of the words. They do that a lot on t-shirts in Japan.
Huh? I don’t see random with the pirate sox. The image goes so well with the words! You couldn’t say that was supposed to mean “dry”:) Good thing it’s still wrong enough to be Engrish.
I want a pair of socks like those, the pirate not the hampster. The pirate has hutspa.

tends to be the most common/accepted spelling.
I’m not sure the pirate has chutzpah, it’s more like he’s just being happily obnoxious. There IS a difference.
I heard that on Hanukkah you can spell it hutspa.
Hutspa (spelled thusly) sounds like an organic therapy of some sort. Like a shack in the woods where they have a sauna or cleansing mud or something. And charge you a lot for the experience.
But if you get some of these socks as a takeaway, it might be totally worth it.
I don’t care how you spell it, I just like saying it. Certainly clears the pipes!
