  1. Anon says:

Sounds more like legalise then engrish.

  2. fat pigeon says:

Tell me more, oh wise pencil-holder.

  3. FrankiiDoodle says:

It doesn’t sound that bad, not like some other ones on here.

  4. medo1312 says:

    quite poetic, isn’t it?
    or a fortune cookie copy&paste…?

  5. frebro says:

Wat? That’s 100% correct English. No Engrish in sight…

  6. RiderLeangle says:

    Since when was this Engrish?

  7. 2349 says:

    Masturbation reference?

  8. Kaptyn says:

There’s nothing wrong with this. Who let this get through?

    • fat pigeon says:

Are you serious? “From time to time the usual moment”? What’s a usual moment? and how can you refer to something that applies to it from time to time if it’s usual?

      • Caitlin says:

        You are an idiot.

      • Money says:

No, fool, “from time to time” refers not to the “usual moment” but the fact that it “seems terribly beautiful.” The usual moment, is, bluntly put, just your average everyday moment that just “seems terribly beautiful” from time to time.

      • Eric says:

It means that every now and then, normal moments can seem “terribly beautiful.”

        *facepalm*

    • Enry says:

Who ever told you that it had to have something ‘wrong’ with it to get through? It’s Engrish all the same.

      • Kaptyn says:

If it is translated properly (which this is), then it is “English” not “Engrish”. This is a site for humous translation blunders. If it is not ‘wrong’, it should not get through to the general public, because it is NOT all Engrish.

  9. Ben says:

sounds like theres an oxymoron in there.

  10. Psychedelic says:

IMHO, this is adorable. “The usual moment” is “everyday life” — and this really isn’t Engrish.

  11. faunablues says:

This is the most profound pencil case I’ve seen.

  12. Zach says:

There’s absolutely nothing incorrect about this description. It’s actually quite beautifully poetic.

  13. Ana says:

This terribly beautiful moment was brought to you by Lovely Satan.

  14. pea says:

since when does it have to be incorrect grammar to be Engrish? it’s just an odd thing to put on a child’s pencil case. Like the t-shirts with a picture of a rainbow on, that say something like “i want to kill myself.”

    • Kaptyn says:

How is an ironic T-shirt Engrish? Your example has nothing to do with anything Engrish-related besides unexpected humor. Engrish is not just another word for ironic.

      • pea says:

It’s ironic when the person wearing the shirt, or the company that made the shirt (i.e. people who don’t speak english) don’t realize what the shirt says. But it’s still Engrish.

  15. Enry says:

Yes I have to wonder at all these people that out of nowhere decided that Engrish suddenly means “grammatically incorrect”. Very weird and uninformed conclusion.

  16. Mephisto says:

It’s never too early to start on Kantian transcendental aesthetics.

  17. Upsilamba says:

In my opinion, Engrish has to have something wrong with it, like grammar problems, translation problems, etc. While this is a bit awkward perhaps, I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with it.

  18. YOMOM says:

    thats not engrish.
    its poetic language

  19. Peter P says:

Hasn’t anyone seen it yet? There’s no space after the comma!!! Huge mistake! Definitely Engrish.

Seriously, though, I submitted two other photos of pencil cases that were much worse…they just didn’t make it. I thought it was weird that this one was voted through.

What I found most humorous about these pencil cases were the random unheard of characters. Bobi & Tom? Could someone enlighten me to these character’s origins or are these completely made up just for the sake of a pencil case?

  20. scubasurf says:

    Deep.

  21. Actually says:

    This makes sense.

  22. i wonder what they are actually saying here.

  23. what on earth does this mean?
