I’m guessing this is a sign for one of those giant outdoor chess boards in a park in Barcelona, where either people act as the pieces, or you have to slep around 6′ tall peices.
It’s deja vu all over again. I just realized, whilst reading these pickings, YOU REMIND OF MY 80+ DADDY.
He picked apart “Star Trek-OS” every week, pointing out what scientific theorem wouldn’t/shouldn’t work.
He is my hero, BTW and I truly believe he could have an intelligent covo’s w/Hawking.
Gasp. My Daddy was one of the first geeks. Long live geekdom!
I’m from Costa Rica, I can assure you that’s 100% real. When I’ve traveled to parks or beaches, or whatever, here I’ve encountered more than my share of Engrish signs, the menu translations here are HORRIBLE too. Whenever I have the chance I’ll take a couple pics and post them.
Not really something I’m proud of as a Costarican, but I’m already used to it, and it’s funny as hell.
Sadly, that’s true… I’m from Costa Rica too and signs like this one are easy to find. I guess we can’t do anything but laugh at ourselves.
Oh, and this one comes from a Barceló Hotel, not from the city of Barcelona as someone said…
Noes. Please to tell me this is not headstone for Happy Cat.
Awwww that would be awful
Can I has burger to go with the big cheesmaster?
It’s never bad if you know to play chees!
I raise you two wedges of Dill Havarti.
Very nice game! I like it!

This is photoshopped. There are two different fonts. You can tell by comparing the i.
You mean one is not allowed to used an italicised Serif and non-italicised Sans Serif font on the same sign? Oh Noz!
It’s definitely fake. The first S is slightly lower than the rest of the letters.
Dude, that’s just a clumsy sign-maker.
As they said above, it’s a sign for a large chess-board.
Why pray tell would anyone bother to shop that? It wouldn’t even be worth firing up the application for me.

*hangs head and wants redo*
Oh well, the gist is there.
I was unaware that Andre the Giant was a chees whiz
He was.
Second only to the Cruel Pirate Robers
Cruel? I thought he was dread.

Even all the big cheeses need a master.
ajedrez gigante -> giant chess
The Big Cheesmaster is the ICHC cat! xD
what a small sign, is cheesmaster a mouse?
Big Chess? o_O that’s what my minuscule knowledge of spanish tells me. xD
Why would they need a chess sign?
OH GOD.
Blessed are the Cheesemasters.
He can has cheesburger?
It’s actually supposed to say Giant Chess. Ajedrez means chess and gigante as you may have guess means giant.
big cheese is what they’re really talking about.
