Is it just me, or this on its side?
this sign is sideways… or the entire park is at the wrong side…

Actually, it looks like it’s coming out from the side of a mountain. You folks don’t spend a lot of time in wilderness areas with steep hillsides and old-growth trees, I take it.

I think it’s possible that the sign is sideways, because Chinese can be written top-down (this is Chinese, right? lol)
Now, the real mystery is: what does the prohibition sign mean…
No smoking or any other flames, that’s what it means. And yes, the Chinese characters are on their side so that means that the sign was vertical when the picture was posted.
OK I will protect a wood BUT… why did they kill a tree to make such sign?
