Why are they Engrishizing something that’s already in English?
Original movie given Japanese/Chinese/whatever subtitles. Video pirated. Pirates hit upon idea of adding English subtitles. Pirates retranslate subtitle file badly. Including titles that never needed retranslating in the first place.
The sign is *already* in English.
So why translate it into Engrish? Are there people who understand only the latter?

It looks like something one would see in Google Translate. For people just learning to speak English, this would make sense. Sort of like how we screw up other languages’ sentence structures
