First!
I’m thinking that “first” should have been the last word in the string of directions given above…
Seems plain to me, save the bump to put on top of the hole.
That’s what I got, too.
this one is not that funny.
Couldn’t you have included that with your first comment of “first,” before you changed your name? The avatar stays the same, btw.
Couldn’t you have…gotten a life, perhaps? No? Just a suggestion. You’re an idiot, btw.
I don’t think it’s funny either. I think it’s useful. I want one of those signs.
here here
i want on for my door
This HAS to be the most insanely translated directions I’ve ever seen!
What in tarnation are they trying to tell you to do?!
Anyone who really understood any part of that sentence (assuming it’s only one), or what they truly meant, doesn’t really speak real English… WTF. I literally laughed out loud. Probably the funniest text-only pic I’ve seen here.
soo. we ordered a glass top table from pier 1.
it came in several pieces. legs… top… bars… base…
these were the only directions included.
Was there a little plug to put in the hole after tightening in the screw? Maybe that’s what it’s referring to. Sometimes cheeper furniture comes with stickers to put over the screws. Nicer things have little round pieces of wood to plug in over the screw holes. I don’t know why it’s spelled as “bump” first and then “bumb,” though.
Lower case b and p look very similar to someone who is trying to type when characters look the same to them. To us, it’s obvious, but to someone used to a language that’s written quite different (Mandarin, Kanji, for example), p, b, d and q may all look the same.
You misspelled “cheeper” by the way :p
Sibling of the above who received said table.
In a word, no. There wasn’t any kind of screw or stickers, or any kind of “bump” to not put anywhere. It was the most bizarre set of instructions we had ever seen. And it was, indeed, the ONLY instructions in the box. Luckily putting the table together was intuitive enough (basically just setting a giant glass disc on legs) but wow.
*head explodes*
I think they make a cream for that.
I love when there’s SO much Engrish that the thing’s like a riddle.
Do Not Put Marbles In Your Mouth! Put them in your do not put them in your do not put marbles in your mouth!
I feel sorry for the person that wrote the instructions… He is obviously an inmate at some institution!!
uh . . . wow, i felt like i was reading an asian Dr Seuss for a second . . .
I can’t understand what this is telling me to do…
Then again I don’t think I want to know XD
ROFL
I have been laughing so hard I can’t breathe, not only at the sign but also at the comments. These were actual instructions for putting something together? ROFL. So funny.
For some reason this sounds very dirty to me. I’m not even sure why.
sounds…strangely naughty…
