Lest suddenness happens!
Engrish photo by Angela
Isn’t this one really old?
It is yes. Hence: Fail!
that’s what I thought
this was one of the first ones on here for f**k sake
first time i’ve seen it and I’m wiping the tears away!!
I want to see this suddenness happen, durn it!
me 2
I absolutely *hate* it when suddenness happens.
Yeah, it always happens so… suddenly, doesn’t it?
Much more sudden than gradualness. Scary.
They used “lest” correctly though, how many native english speakers can claim the same?
Yeah, I speak English… hell, I even teach it, and I don’t even use “lest.”
Yeah, but they meant rest, actually. When you fall over the rail, you REST
suddenly. This is to be avoided.
Or um, something.
Oh, yes, that’s right. It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the SUDDEN stop at the bottom!
yeah it’s old. i posted this picture on here a couple months ago
The railing exists
to help prevent suddenness
to those that walk here
Nice Haiku

=D
Have we seen it before? – Yes.
Is it funny? – Yes.
Did Angela Necro an old image? – No.
Looks like the same Park/Zoo sign but in different locations. Backgrounds don’t match at all.
So, that would mean that suddenness happens in multiple locations! Eerie…
well it’s nice to see it again…
who doesn’t need to be reminded to avoid suddenness?
obviously photoshopped….
if you look closely at those 2 pictures you will see that it actually is the same location the photo is just taken from a different angle in a different season
I’m gonna have to swing with the “no” team here. The old photo has a wall in the background on the right with foliage behind it. The new picture has a building there. The old picture has large rocks on the ground. The new picture has none. The old picture has more railings and people walking on the left. The new picture has a panda climbing frame there.
I’ve been there! I also have that picture!! Beijing is awesome!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh

AH

,,,,,.,.,.
AHHHHHHHHHH
(gd suddeness)
OMG I accidentally the railing – what should I do?
Start looking for your action verb?? Apparently it was lost in all the suddenness.
Hi, I submitted the picture – I didn’t see it posted, so it was a fail on my part. Sorry Steph. This is actually a real picture from the Beijing Zoo Panda Exhibit, taken by me on a trip in September, 2007. I submitted about a dozen Engrish pictures taken in Beijing, Guilin, Xi’an and Shanghai, but this is the one the site posted.
If suddenness happens, and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
Suddenness is the suddenity of the suddenocity of the sudd.
Or the suddenocity of the sudden occurence.
Or the suddenness of the sudden that made it so suddeny.
Suddenness of the suddenity of the sudd devried from the sudden.
As far as I’m aware this is at Beijing Zoo, I saw the same sign on my visit this June.
what a funny little sign.
