The initial word “Golimar!” has been translated as “Shoot the bullet,” in some supposedly accurately-subtitled versions of this video, but I’ve seen claims that it’s a term for some sort of evil being perhaps analogous to a vampire. I think that to someone who speaks only English (and like me hasn’t that good hearing) the fake lyrics are not too far off in sound, and hardly random, merely bordering on nonsensical. Such lines as “he ate my motorboat” and “you’ll be pumping Ovaltine/ Or Salty Shanty’s One-Shot Tea” are rather striking. (Salty Shanty is actually, “Shanti, shanti,” or “Peace, peace,” presumably as in “hush, hush.”) But really, yes, this doesn’t belong here at all.
