Maybe it’s intended for stupid English-speaking tourists, Darwin Awards-style. I’m sure the Chinese one says “wait until you’re sober!” The English version says “Go for it!”
The only part of Engrish that gets lame and old is the use of the f-word. Its like – yea, we’ve seen that fail a million times now, give us something new. *rolls eyes*
I know people who think they drive better drunk…..
I know people who DO drive better drunk…
Of course, their sober driving is total crap…
Maybe it means “Wait until after you’re through being drunk”.
Literally, “After getting drunk, request a chauffeur”, or more liberally, “…ask someone else to drive”.
I’m a little confused…are they encouraging drunk driving?
LOL yes they are.
if obama passes that law, there will be total chaos.
Good advice. Can I have some more?
This just seems like a bad idea… “No, officer, the sign at the Chinese restaurant told me it was okay!”
“No, ossifer, the Chinese at the restaurant told me it was sign”
No sign, officer told me to drunk after.
If they mean “sober up before you drive” that’s a poor way to put it.
have you noticed you are on a site completely devoted to bad grammar?
That’s now what they told me at the DARE program… they LIED.
*gives sign to Mother-In-Law*
the first part should say “don’t drink and drive”, then “drive instead after drunk”. that would make more sense to me.

Anyone else notice that this website isn’t anywhere near as funny as the others?
understanding engrish FAIL
Indeed. This one’s actually one of my favourites. Right next to failblog.

This seems more like bad grammar than engrish.. like it should say “Drive after drunk, instead!”
