no, you’re not getting it. It’s funny to us Americans because cracker does mean white people here, that’s why out of its context, it is funny. In context, it’s not funny and normal… like a lot of signs posted here. Translations don’t only apply to words, but to the meaning of words based on location, society, culture, etc.
Of course they don’t mean white people, but looking at it from a society where it does often mean white people, it’s amusing.
Skrag isn’t assuming nothing happens outside of the US, in fact, most of these photos are from outside of the US, and the english (engrish) translations and their context in the US is what we find funny.
