It took me all day to remember where I’d heard this–it’s in a UB40 song, something on one of those “Labor of Love” albums. Bow-chicka-wow chicka bow-wow-wow…
Personally, I don’t think we’re trying to force real things into being mistakes. I for one just like to laugh at the subtle characteristics of English that make the language funny, weather they be mistakes or not.
they were at taste of chicago, and it was towards the end of the day and there wasn’t much business, and I asked the dude working for some buns, and he smiles and says, “what flavor?” and I’m like, “good question…” and we both started giggling awkwardly.
Are the Asian buns cross?
i believe they are made of ass
MMM… Donkey meat.
Sounds like a shop in SF, CA.
If it is I’m there. Yummy.
It’s actually in Chicago.
I saw it in Chicago too – stall in Water Tower Place. The “hot asian buns” is 100% deliberate.
Its totally on purpose, they sell Bao Buns… And they are delicious, I go to Wow Bao at Water Tower at least once a week.
This seems more like a win to me.
Got that right, son!
Asian doggie say “Wow bao”
Asian doggie style with hot Asian buns… bow wow!
Hehe, I’m Asian and I’ve heard THAT before…jk…sorta
You mean bow chicka bow wow!

Now I can go to sleep.
My Asian buns take that as a compliment
there’s nothing “Engrish” about this. they are a restaurant chain run by “Lettuce Entertain You”. the pun here is deliberate and intentional.
these sites would be a lot funnier if people stopped trying to turn real things into mistakes.

My grammar seems to have escaped me…
All for the best, I guess.

Amen!
Agreed. There’s a Wow Boa in the lobby of my office building in Chicago. I must agree they are delicious, but so soo not Engrish.
Gotta get me summa-dat.
I know that this sign makes me want some hot Asian buns…… walks out on the street looking for a massage parlor.
Well, why not …
No Engrish. Just a place with very good food
NAM
hot Asian buns: Megumi and Rio Natsume
Can I get a Hallelujah, my Brothers?!
I’m confused…is this a bakery or a massage parlor?
It’s a massage parlor with pastry.
Kinky.
mmmm asian buns … *drools*
Is there a gender preference? Can I bring my polaroid?
but whats the actual mistake
near where i live there is a bakery next to a brothel and both are owned by asians
Five dolla make you holla!
Five more dolla make you holla with sweet asian treat in your mouth…
But this isn’t Engrish! this is an awesome restaurant in downtown Chicago!
I’d tap that.
Haha, I saw this restaurant all over Chicago when I vistited there last May…totally made my day.
And yes. It is a RESTAURANT that sells hamburgers…but I still think the in-the-gutter version is still fun. ^_^
they mainly sell steamed buns with assorted fillings (curry chicken being my favorite). they do not sell hamburgers.
Has http://www.hotasianbuns.com been used as a website yet?
yeah it’s called WowBao.com
to think of the pervs that went in there……..:(
That is actually their slogan. They are an American Brand, all over Chi town. Makes me want to eat there everyday
It’s pretty impressive how many people from Chicago are in this thread. GO US!
ha I know! Chi-town in the bunz…er..house.
but yeah, i love this place.
Yes, Id like to order a dozen of your buns, and would you have some day old wangs to go?
And is this really Engrish?
no not really.
they were at taste of chicago, and it was towards the end of the day and there wasn’t much business, and I asked the dude working for some buns, and he smiles and says, “what flavor?” and I’m like, “good question…” and we both started giggling awkwardly.
