What a fine thing to help the miserable corpses, but wouldn’t it be better to help them before they turned dead and sad? Does anyone read Cambodian? What do they mean to say?
I think it’s for the destitute and paupers… basically a charity that does a bit more than sling someone who was too poor to afford a ‘proper’ funeral…

Yeah, that’s what they do:

I’ve actually been to this sign! I saw it this summer. I know missionary’s over there that know Khmer, the primary language in Cambodia, and they said it is not a bad translation. That is what it actually says in Khmer. It is actually just a few blocks from their house.
C’mon kids, you don’t want to go there. I think this has to do with the unidentified bodies which volunteers try to get straightened out after the Khmer Rouge…Somebody help me out; is this the case?
No, They take Corpses and put them in a highly decorated hearse and give them a celebration through the city as they take the body to be cremated. Western culture is a lot more reserved when it comes to funerals than other cultures.

I take it they weren’t buying the old addage ‘better off dead’ .. They realized hey maybe life ain’t so bad.. Besides, being surrounded by other corpses would make me miserable too; Who is this association composed of anyway?

Maybe they mean Corps and it’s something like the Peace Corps and “The Miserable” is the type of people the association helps.
