    Interesting…

  2. Craig says:

Do they lick your finger, or do you lick theirs?

  3. DavyG says:

This is located near Brixton in London… 2 min walk away from where I’m sitting now. The food is, indeed, finger licking good.

  4. Leland Dantzler says:

Is this supposed to be funny? Or maybe a innuendo? Either way, it pretty much fails.

  5. West Indian says:

Its a West Indian phrase. It pretty much just means finger licking good.

  6. The L says:

    As opposed to pull finger.

  7. A Trini girl here.
This isn’t Engrish. It’s exactly what West Indian dialect/patois sounds like – It’d translate into “Finger licking good” for North Americans.
It may be an English fail (as is the case with most West Indian lingo) but it isn’t Engrish.

    Hello West Indian at 8:26am!

  8. Tom Trifik says:

More confused am I about the “ENGLISH FOOD” ?

    What would that be?
    *googles*
What are these dishes that have strange names like Bubble & Squeak and Toad-in-the-Hole. Sounds like food even Andrew Zimmern might balk at.

    • Rob says:

Bubble & Squeak: fried cabbage and bacon. Cabbage goes black when you fry it, but it tastes great. The name is from the sound it makes when it is cooking.

Toad in the hole: sausage meat covered in batter and fried.

Hey! Trini too! Awesome! :D yay! (currently away from home and wishing i could be at the restaurant in this pic!) lol i was just thinking- a Caribbean fastfood chain named ‘Windies’ would bee awesome. I need shadow beni (aka bandania) :(

    • West Indian says:

I really dont think ‘Windies’ is a good name for a food place……Might as well call it ring-sting ;-)

And hi Trini! Bet I’m further from the West Indies than you are right now!

  10. kaylee says:

Is this where the finger room is?

  11. Is this the same d!o who draws John and John?

  12. Lee says:

How is this Engrish? It is not a mistake and is perfectly valid language. Ignorance FAIL!

  13. chloee says:
