  1. Sarcastik says:

    Sounds delicious… mmm tubes.

    • elfinugget says:

it’s not a truck. It’s tubes of glutenous rice.

      • drb says:

So… it’s a sushi roll filled with chicken (hopefully cooked), then? And “Cowboy bone” probably means beef rib, and “Jadeite Fries the Perch” might be Fried Perch With Spinach.

But I refuse to think of “Plain Abalone Buttons Up The Duck” as anything but doing rude things to that damn AFLAC duck in the commercials.

    • Maks says:

I prefer cowboy bones. Guys from Texas have got so crunchy skeletons…

  2. Mi-suky says:

Oh! Does this mean we don’t have to put up w/ the friggin’ panda anymore???

  10. signe says:

none of that looks edible :(

  11. marymert says:

    Black pepper cowboy bone…
Plain abalone buttons up the duck?

    Someone doesn’t know their Engrish!

  13. dr_handle says:

So, the abalone is doing something unseemly to the duck, the jadeite is frying the perch (that’s a euphemism for something uncivilised if ever I heard one), and as for what Pepper is going to do to that cowboy – is this the menu, or the program for the floor show? I TOLD you I wanted to go eat Italian! Now I think I need a Bex, and a good lie down…

  14. Obligated, safe. We never violate this privacy says:

    Look at that bacon sizzle!

  15. Obligated, safe. We never violate this privacy says:

Anyone notice there’s only ONE halfway decent food item on that menu?
Crabs sauteed with bean paste sauce.
    ——————————————————————————————-
Which still doesn’t make any sense.

  16. Thrawn says:

So what exactly is fries the perch a euphamism for?

  17. asjoma says:

Crabs with bean paste? This sounds like a hippie cure for an STD

  18. chris says:

They got the first thing you can see right, then they went downhill from there. Maybe the more the guy was drinking, the worse the menu got.

  19. Wilson says:

how they translate it into “tube-shape container” …
It means BAMBOO actually… (Bamboo chicken rice)

    • Karak says:

think about it, bamboo is round like a tube and hollow like a container, so somewhere, they got tube shape container from it.

  20. Phk says:

    Google Translate Win!

  21. Karak says:

Wow, That tube shaped container with gluttons rice chicken sounds amazing, or how about some cowboy bone!!!!

  22. mondayonion says:

mmm…abalone, delicious little molluscs they are…

  23. Monado says:

A Chinese-Canadian friend once explained to me that “cow boy,” which we encountered on a menu, meant “veal.”

  24. attorneys says:

    glutinous rice chicken, what’s that?
