“na” means I, so this is pretty much a meaningless statement in Korean as well. Especially since they didn’t use the correct Korean words for “roommate” and “rent”, and just transcribed the English words into Korean. This is Engrish in three languages!
No one bothered to ask: Whats the roommate think of this? Or is this some fly by night deal so you and your buddies can have one more friday night of beerpong? I’ve got an idea, pass up on the inflatable furniture at walmart, keep the roommate. They can be exploited later and maybe for more than your asking now.
The katakana (Japanese) part at the bottom says “ruumumeito or rento.” It literally translates to “roommate or rent,” so that person failed in all languages.
So, somebody explain what “roomate OR rent” means? Somebody’s looking either for a roommate or for someone to just pay their rent without being a roommate?

Is she hot? I’ll rent her.
Me too
And cheap too!
THIRND
The bottom line says “Roommate or rent”.
…and in the top line, that capital F is a little close to Roommate.
Methinks ’twas added afterwards by some wag.
Funny though.
O__o OMG…you can sell your roommate? Why didn’t anyone tell me this when I was in college?
More importantly, why didn’t anyone tell your roommates?
Lol…that would have been fun…I wonder how much the buyer would have paid to send me back.
Lol. This is more fail blog than engrish now that you see some ass added that F, lol
the korean part says “Room mate na rent” … pronounced exactly like that.
Okay, then, Mr. Korean-reading-pants, what does that “na” mean? Assuming it’s “or”, that’s just further proof that the F was added after the fact.

In this case na actually means or
i’m pretty sure the 나 means “or” here
The real fail is that the caption below the picture says “rommate” and not “roommate”.
I want
I tried to rent my roommate, but he never wiped his ass so nobody was interested.
You failed to advertise him to the correct demographic
I could’ve sworn the middle line said: hoe 4 hell.
When you scroll over the pic it says :roomate_for_rent1
Conclusion: Roommate seems to be the hardest word to spell
and the 1… he/she has other roommates to rent out?
I think it’s obvious that the roommate isn’t for rent at this point. Now I want to know what you can barter your roommate or rent FOR.

can i rent you instead? , haha

This ad is offering you a rental – a roomate or a room…with a mate
Problem:
1. How much?? Is this a serious ad?
2. Where are the fking contact details?
The guy’s probably sitting beside his phone wondering why nobody’s called yet. Moron.
Yes, the F was added after it was posted. The Japanese, ルームメイト or レント reads “rūmeito or rento”, meaning “roommate or rent”.
Sorry, “roommate” is “rūmumeito”. The Japanese don’t pronounce U fully.
룸메이트나 렌트합니다 could be translated as “renting a roommate or something.”
basically, even more absurd (because it means the same thing), and it’s more hilarious!
win.
|the kid|
or…just “roommate or rent.” i suppose that might be what they mean…
|the kid|
It’s Engrish, dumbass.

Japanese fail
it probably means what it says.
