What the hell is a handbasin? Why is it only for children?
Handbasin = sink, place to wash hands?

  4. mamarosa says:

I think this means don’t beat your child, while in the handbasin.

For those unenlightened ones guessing at an anti-violence-against-children or anti-bathing sign, the actual translation would be “handbasin for children’s use, please do not step on or apply heavy pressure”.

No doubt this handbasin is suspended just above the average toddler’s neck level, with the water inlet and drainage pipes providing its only structural support.

  11. mockingpenguin says:

    do not beat handbasin child!

  12. laconejita says:

Our handbasins are child-abuse proof. If you are going to beat your child, please use something else.

  13. nathan says:

dont you get it? the basin is for children to use after you beat them.

  14. Silly Spencer says:

You know how sometimes people put up signs after something has happened…
